Muslims mistake some regular guy named Isa for the Christ Jesus the Holy Son of God who atones for sin. Muslims are not sure they believe in the Gospel as their book calls it perfect and yet it disagrees with the Qu'ran...Muslims are sure that Allah is the God of the Gospel and also the God of the prophets so they are careful to call everything corrupt that does not agree with Muhammad and his Qu'ran which is the God of Abraham though they like the name God of Abraham and the names of the prophets they absolutely hate the true words of these and stick to the Qu'ran which misquotes everything but the names of the prophets and even then misnames Jesus as Isa which is not the Arabic name for Jesus. So many Muslims will call this Gospel corrupt even though Allah claims it...and others will call this not that Gospel handed down by Allah, some will even say a fraudulent Gospel of Barnabas is the true Gospel even though it does not agree with the teachings of the Quran as Jesus says he is not the Messiah and that Muhammad is...This fraudulent Gospel seems to be written in the 15th century by a Muslim unfamiliar with the teachings of the Qu'ran which by the way is not that unusual. Others will agree this Gospel is the Gospel Allah claims but say man has corrupted it...though this too is against the teachings of Allah who says none can change his word. don't be too harsh on them they have to twist scriptuture to make it fit as Allah claims to be the same God worshiped before Muhammad but Muhammad did not know him so the two do not in any way match..therfore thay not only must twist the Gospel but also have to manipulate their own Qu'ran. It's tough being Muslim. Much time must be spent burying your head in the sand and pretending the God of Abrham before muhammad agrees wiht the teachings of the Qu'ran...best not to even study scripture that existed prior to Muhammad.

You seem to have a habit of misinterpretting Quranic verses in a way which is almost ridiculous.
You quoted 3:144 as an "adamant" statement that all messengers died and I quote the same:
Muhammad is but a messenger, messengers (the like of whom) have passed away before him. Will it be that, when he dieth or is slain, ye will turn back on your heels? He who turneth back on his heels doth no hurt to Allah, and Allah will reward the thankful.
Does it say ALL messenger died? Or does it say that men like him passed away in the past? Give me a break.
_______________________________
You quoted 19:33 as saying that he died and arose again and I quote the same verse
Peace on me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive!
Yes, Muslims believe that he WILL BE raised in the end times; this verse does NOT say that he WAS resurrected. It is way too clear.
_____________________________________
You quoted 21:98 as evidence of every idolator burning in Hell and mentioned Jesus being worshipped... I quote the same:
Lo! ye (idolaters) and that which ye worship beside Allah are fuel of hell. Thereunto ye will come.
a) Does it say the MAN that you worship? No.
b) The whole Quran speaks well of Jesus as a messenger and there are hundreds of verses asking idolators to repent, this is quite clearly one of them.
c) If people are being told that that which you worship will be flung to hell with you, (even if there were others who worshipped other prophets) the conclusion that prophets who were worshipped will be thrown in Hell is NOT compatible with the rest of the Quran.
It takes a second to realize this is about idols.

Your interpretation, my friend, is sadly biased and in the process has turned to whimsical hatred. Intelligent questions are nice and healthy but you are biased in your very first step towards studying this religion.
No educated and unbiased person would interpret these verses in the childish way that you have and my answer clearly proves that.
I try to foster tolerance on Y/A and love the intelligent questions but this is... whimsical prejudice (I speak keeping in mind your earlier questions).
Cheers & God bless.

no no no, we believe jesus and respect him, and god mentioned him in a very good way he never mentioned to burn him , god loves jesus, and jesus didnt tell people to worship him , he gave the right message but people change it to their will,,he has nothing to do with that ,,but people will pay for changing what god said, and their are people who worship idols these r the worst category, but let me tell u 4 exampl if people in very far poor place who never heard about any religion and worshiped an idol that doesn't mean they will g to hell ,because they never knew the right path...and god knows because he is the one to know the hearts of people, people who recieved the message and never looked into it or they know the truth and hide it (about religion) they will be in hell with what they worship (Idols and people who claim they are gods)....but we can't even say about christians that they are going to hell because this will be a sin as well,
jesus did not die he was raised to heavens until the time comes for his return and then he will correct what people has changed in god's words and people follow him again and he will live on earth and show to people the truth...but god will never hurt his messanger to clear the sins for people ...he can forgive without sacrrificing a small piece from jesus peace be upon him...and do you think that what is happenong around the world now from crimes and things were forgiven already? no each person will be judge according to his deeds.
jesus when he comes back he will live and the he will die and then at judgment day god will resurrect all humans..so that s explain what is said in quran .
advice from me to you..if you want realy to understand the quran their are books to give you the whole picture and story's mentiond in quran ...if you dont have it in english I am willing to help you.
because even for us we need to translate and ask about meanings and to learn the storys because even for us we can mistranslate..good luck

Sura 3:144 states"Many were the apostles that passed away before him........."
Many is not all or everyone. Please refer to a muslim webpage for your reference. If you keep on going to the anti-Islamic page you will get a distorted translation. I do not know what your intention are. If you are sincere to know the truth you should know where to source rightfully for your Quran translation.
I can detect that you are not sincere by the word you stated " 4:157 falsely says Jesus did not die".
You are dishonest and hypocrite of the worst kind.

I'll touch every point you've made, and then I'll explain with evidence from the Quran.
-- Yes, Jesus was a prophet. Most definitely. No doubt about it. BUT he is/was not God or God's son. Nowhere will you read that in the Quran.
-- No, Jesus will NOT be sent to hell; prophets don't go to hell. Period. Jesus didn't tell anyone to worship him, and if people claim he did, it's untrue. He loved God and KNEW that only God was to be worshipped.
-- Jesus has been raised by God for now but WILL be returning near the end of times. Then, after leading the world as the great leader that he will be with God's Mercy and Grace, he'll die like a normal human being (EVERYONE has to taste death) and then we ALL -- including Jesus -- will be resurrected on Judgment Day. Jesus is saying, "Peace be upon me the day I was born, the day I die, and the day I get resurrected" because, like I just said, everyone's gonna die and be resurrected. Jesus WILL be coming back, and Islam and its followers don't doubt that.
You mentioned 21:98? Let's see what it says: "Verily ye, (unbelievers), and the (false) gods that ye worship besides Allah, are (but) fuel for Hell! to it will ye (surely) come!"
It doesn't say the gods worshipped will ALSO be sent to hell. (A lot of the times, people worship non-living things...like stones, sun, fire, etc. Other times, people just choose certan people for worship even while the person is dead and doesn't know he's being worshipped. In that case, obviously, he's not gonna be punished.) It's merely saying that if you worship anyone other than God, you'll be sent to hell.
HowEVER, if someone tells you to worship him even though he knows that only God should be worshipped and you know that but still worship the idiot who claims to be worthy of being worshipped, THEN you'll both be sent to hell. Pharoah, for instance, WILL be sent to hell because even though He knew that God is ONE and should be worshipped alone, he STILL told people that he (Pharaoh himself) was god and that they should pray to him and all.
But Jesus prayed to God, His Lord.
Obviously, anyone who teaches you NOT to follow/worship God, or who teach you anything negative WILL be punished by God. Those who listen to such people will not be punished if they're COMPELLED to follow those people, BUT if they do have understanding and a choice and all, then they'll certainly be punished as well. If someone tried to convince me to worship him, for instance, and I'm fool enough to listen to him, then I WILL be punished (since I know better) and so will he.
3:144 says: "Muhammad is no more than a messenger: many Were the messenger that passed away before him. If he died or were slain, will ye then Turn back on your heels? If any did turn back on his heels, not the least harm will he do to Allah; but Allah (on the other hand) will swiftly reward those who (serve Him) with gratitude."
Where does it say ALL prophets before Muhammad died??!
No, Jesus is NOT dead, and NOWHERE in the Quran will you read that he is dead. Yes, he was raised to God alive.
In 19:33, Jesus is saying, "So peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die, and the day that I shall be raised up to life (again)!"
"Raised up to life again" means the time on Judgment Day when EVERY human being will be raised from the dead in order to be judged by God. Jesus has NOT died, was never crucified, will COME BACK to live his life near the end of times, and then die a natural death. His coming back will be one of the main signs of the closeness of Judgment Day.
"He [Jesus] is a Sign of the Hour. Have no doubt about it. But follow Me. This is a straight path" (Quran, 43:61).
Since you mentioned 4:158, let's see what 4:159 has to say: "... and on the Day of Resurrection he [Jesus] will be a witness against them (those who consider him God or God's son)" (4:159).
That's all I have to say, and sorry if I repeated myself a bit too much.
Peace and blessings be upon you!

Jesus Christ was a prophet of God. Muslims believe so. Those who claim his divinity or the divinity of any other prophet are infidels. If you worship Jesus, then you're an infidel...and you'll go to Hell. Jesus doesn't go to Hell because he's a prophet and prophets are sinless.

Isa (as) (aka Jesus) is a prophet that is loved , accepted & highly respectd in Islam. People loved him because of his humbleness , He was created by god & not by some holy spirit because God didnot need a holy spirit to make Mary pregnant, Whatever God wills shall happen.
The verses you are refering to :
Sura 21:98 - Christians should not be worshiping Jesus , they should be following his example - Jesus did not mention anywhere in the bible that he is to be worshipped. You only worship Allah (swt) & Allah has no partners ( meaning no sons or wives etc....) As muslims we donot worship any prophet , we follow thier examples , we only worship Allah (God). So by christians worshiping Jesus - they are saying Jesus is God & they are saying that God has partners.
Sura 3:144 - Jesus did not die , he was taken up to heaven so that he may come down in future to embrace the religion Islam & to follow the example of Muhammed (saw) - jesus himself asked God to bring him down again so that he can become muslim.
When they mention that Jesus is dead - they actually mean that the non-believers of Islam will think that he is dead but they will see that he will come down from heaven in the future when it is his time.
Jesus (A.S.) also says in the Bible,
... and a little while and you shall not see me; and again a little while, you shall see me because I go to the Father.
(Bible, John 16:16)
... and the Holy Qur'an says,
And surely they slew him not. But Allah (God) raised him unto Himself.
(Holy Qur'an, Surah Nisaa, Verse 157-158)
Jesus - Isa (as) was never crucified, he never died for anyones sins , everyone is responsible for thier own actions. Jesus was never in hell nor will he ever go to hell, All prophets characters are flawless. No Prophet has commited sin because they are all pure.

Jesus is a prophet in Islam, nothing more and nothing less.
Allah is God, the same God of Judaism, Christianity and Islam, so Christians aren't really going to Hell in Islam's perception. For evidence, refer to surah 2:62:
"Surely those who believe, and those who are Jews, and the Christians, and the Sabians, whoever believes in God and the Last day and does good, they shall have their reward from their Lord, and there is no fear for them, nor shall they grieve. "
Jesus didn't die, he was raised up to be with God until he comes again to fight the antichrist.
The ressurected part is reffering to Judgement Day. During judgement day, every living thing is dead, and will get ressurected to get judged. This also includes Jesus.
Any other question?
Edit: Replying to your question, no, he won't be burned. He is a prophet of Allah, and he spreaded his messege and he spreaded love and peace. It wasn't his fault if people worshipped him.

First this is the verse about Crucification and then would paste the story of jesus in islam!
004.157
That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-
Edit !
I have removed the story what we beleive in, wht i could get you want to ask is how islam view non-muslims in front of Allah Right??
Not all of them are alike: Of the People of the Book [Jews and Christians] are a portion that stand (For the right): They rehearse the Signs of God all night long, and they prostrate themselves in adoration. They believe in God and the Last Day; they enjoin what is right, and forbid what is wrong; and they hasten (in emulation) in (all) good works: They are in the ranks of the righteous. (The Noble Quran, 3:113-114)"
"And there are, certainly, among the People of the Book [Jews and Christians], those who believe in God, in the revelation to you, and in the revelation to them, bowing in humility to God: They will not sell the Signs of God for a miserable gain! For them is a reward with their Lord, and God is swift in account. (The Noble Quran, 3:199)"
2:62 Those who believe (in the Qur'an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the sabians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve
here it is clearly stated that muslims are not the only one who would be rewarded .there is also reward for good non -muslims and also there is worse punishment for bad muslims!!

As for your first question, the reply is in three points:
1- in arabic language when we say "ma" we refer to non-human .. like "which" in english, while "man" refers to human like "whome"
2- if you continue read verses it says:[21:101] Those for whom The good (record) from us has gone before, will be removed far therefrom.
3- The question was raised by the polytheists in Mecca and was replied in verses : [57:43] Those for whom The good (record) from us has gone before, will be removed far therefrom.
--------------
As for the second one: I don't know were you get your translation from .. the verse says passed not died .. which means that the time of his prophethood has passed.
--------------
As for the third question: the verse speaks in future tense .. he will die and get resurrected .. just like every one (after his second coming)
