there are estimated 10,000,000 expats from 120 countries working in Saudi Arabia with divers religions, so it is expected that atheists would be among them and Saudis Know that some of them don't have God like Japanese and Chinese and Buddhist in general but they don't allow preaching non-Muslim culture in public and it could be against the law. However, they are expecting their own citizens to be Muslims.

So... here's a serious answer. Most of them will feel sorry for you, and the less devout men will all hit on you.

It's easier for you Atheists to lie and say that you are a Christian because they have huge respect for other religions, and you don't have to listen to the "then who created the universe?" speech. Hovever, if you are a Muslim and then you change (to Judaism, Atheism, Buddhism) then yes you can be executed in the more extreme countries.

If the rustic is a theocracy -- no. nevertheless take Albania -- they are 70% Muslim yet have not have been given any actual faith and you'd be an open atheist there. they are even getting gay marriage. the ethical of this tale is theocracy is evil, no count which faith is working it.

You would be executed. A religion or dogma other than Islam in Saudi Arabia is considered intolerant and subject to death.

Generally, that person would be arrested and put on trial. If that person did not recant his statement, he would be sentenced to death. That is usually the method of treatment in most Islamic countries.

If you'll recall, a man in Afghanistan converted to Christianity. He was jailed, tortured, and put on trial. He was to be publically executed for forsaking Islam and becoming an "infidel." Only extreme international pressure saved his life. He was deported out of Afghanistan.

Hope this helps you.

I have a Tshirt that says,

Front:
On the back of my shirt is a picture of the prophet Mohammed

Back:
Just kidding
Praise Allah
(Please don't kill me)

I wear another tshirt that pictures the Bible and Koran and says:
Weapons of mass destruction

I would never wear it in the Middle East (I'm crazy, not stupid)

So far nobody has ever told me I can't wear either of them here in the states.
