Go to Walgreen's they have a product in the hair color isle that says hair color stripper...it Will strip the color you have on you hair out and then you can go with what you want...OK

If you just want to fade it a bit, get some deep-cleaning shampoo, like Neutrogena, mix it in your hand with baking soda, and apply plenty of that to the hair. Leave for a couple minutes, rinse it out. Follow with a hot oil treatment. That will lift a bunch of color without being a total chemical stripping that will cause you to have to redye your hair.

I have been in this situation many times. I would NOT use that color stripper that you can get in Walgreens/Wal-mart...Unless you want white blonde hair. Yes, it strips the color, but it uses peroxide and dyes your hair a white/yellow blonde.
Try washing your hair with liquid laundry detergent because it is a much stronger wash. It will lighten it up a bit.

redo ,,bleach and lift as much color as possible,,,then let the stylist suggest a toner to calm and lighten your hair.. don't touch your hair after this,,this is quite severe.. good luck
