Shouldnt the be more middle eastern type names???? did we change them???
examples John,Luke, Mary, Joseph, Matthew, Ann, Adam, Mark, Eve.
I know there are some that arent but it seems like a lot of them are.

You'd have to look up how Hebrew and Greek names have changed over time, it's pretty interesting.

The point is that there are two accurate things one can do with names. They can be translated. That means that the meanings would be clear in the second language. The Creator would be "I AM" and the Messiah "I AM IS MY SAVIOR". Or they can be transliterated. They are in Hebrew letters, and no one around here knows what they sound like, so "English" letters can be chosen that sound out the name as it is sounded in the original language. In that case the Creator's name is YAHOWAY (or something similar) and the Messiah's is YAHOSHUA. The "translators" chose a "Third way" (called error in the English" to pick another good sounding name from wherever we want and substitute it.) Thus both the Creator and the Messiah have been given names of heathen "gods" in direct opposition to Exodus 23:13, and Yacob has been changed to either "Jacob" (there was no "J" until 1400 A.D. ) or (of all things) "James". Do you think YHVH is happy with this work?

The ancient Europeans and the Americans show their admiration to the personalities of the Bible by choosing to bear the names of these personalities.
Now their offsprings worry, because they interest no more in studying the Bible and wrongly think that the authors may have borrowed their ancestors' names.

Those names came from under Hebrews and not from the European back ground or English names.All these names given by god, in the bible, and God wants every man kind to follow his Bible, names in freely. Man made differences, seperate Countries, People, culture, Eastern Western and many. Bible names , can use to every one, and it came from god's will.

The names in the Bible are Hebrew names. Because of the Bible, Europeans have adopted them, and used them. They are not European in origin.

Those are of Hebrew origin. Europeans & in other countries used the same names, only in different forms and languages.

We've translated the Bible to our liking. That's really the only reason.
See if you can recognize these names:
Mah-la-chee
Mo-she
Y'-saw-yah
Ay-lee-yah
Ya-kov
Y'ho-vah
Since we don't speak Hebrew, we translate so that the names are something more familiar to us:
Malachi
Moses
Isaiah
Elijah
Jacob
Jehovah
It's not that the names are European, it's that we've altered them to suit our own tastes.

WHO KNOWS ? MOST OF THE OLD GEEZERS THAT SCRATCHED IT ON A TABLET GOT IT BUMFUZZLED AND HERE WE ARE GOOGLING OVER IT. CREATION TOOK PLACE LONG BEFORE ALL THAT . THERE WASNT EVEN A LANGUAGE . PERSONALLY I BELIEVE CREATION TOOK PLACE WHEN CONDITIONS WERE PERFECT AT DIFFERENT LOCATIONS ON THE PLANET. IM NOT A BIBLE FAN. I BELIEVE IN EXACT STUDY.
