ok im 16 and im an exchange student in austria. there is a girl i like quite alot and i think she likes me but she is also one year older than me, but its a little hard to tell i kinda get mixed signals from her, we flirt a bit and she seems to laugh and smile alot. so tonight i want to ask her if she likes me as more then just friends, so my question is how to ask and how to get the nerves to ask. do i just ask her to go in private and just ask straight out if she likes me more than friends? or is there a better way? please help thanks alot

Don't ask her anything. If you have time with her tonight, TELL her you like her more than just a friend. Be confident. Make her laugh, kiss her softly on the cheek and see how she responds. You'll know what she's thinking right then and there. Just don't hesitate when you see it. If it's there, go for a real kiss. If it's not, change the subject and the mood like nothing happened. You can do it.

Ok, I'd say first of all ask her out casually, don't make a big deal out of it and don't prepare it too much in your head, preparation leads to stress. Being relaxed will get you far, self confidence-not arrogance-will get you even farther. Be sure of yourself and your value. I suggest you don't pressure her to divulge any feelings towards you, i.e. "I like you more than friends". Just be on your best behavior, have fun and you'll know the nature of her interest in you. Straight behavior is always better with women and always appreciated.
