My husband is looking for a career change and we would love to relocate the whole family, in the future to Australia. Having been on various official websites I cannot find out which Plastering qualifications will be valid in Australia if any. Would hate to spend 3yrs doing a course only to find it usless for working overseas. Anybody with any advice regarding emmigrating to Oz and finding work there please?

Employment experience is more highly regarded than qualifications. Employers know about city & guilds and NVQs, etc...

To be eligible to migrate your husband will need to complete an official apprenticeship in plastering or work in the trade for at least 6 years.
