You would use 2. because you generally put the size of the noun first. Not really any grammatical reason. 1. just sounds wrong to native speakers.

No 1 could be correct if you put in ','. eg an old, little, red french car.

But no 2 sounds better. A little old red french car.

Its more common to put the size of the item before most other adjectives.

eg the big black dog. not the black big dog.

Both are correct. it just depends on where you want to put an emphasis!
