Is it because they don't have yahoo messenger, or afraid the candy man would pay them a visit?

I do, but couldn't care less about it because I never go on Yahoo Messenger. I'm sure I never did anything to you, so I have no fear of you nor reason to believe you would feel the need to pay me " a visit. "

I never use IM because it takes too much time away from Yahoo! Answers.

I don't, because my IM is for friends and family only. Not yahoos I meet on Yahoo.

Hubby gave me this new comp for my birthday and I've never downloaded it on this one, I kinda lean towards the invasive program thing.

I was allowing mail communications and i recieved hatred mails from some nut cases here till i left this entire category , imagine what will happen on allowing my IM?

Because IMs are as close to "face to face" as we can get on here and they are afraid. They will be revealed for what they really are.

I only use one Instant Messanger program, and its used for work. I hardly think it is appropriate to expose it here.
