can anyone tell me about penthouse hotel in pattaya thailand?

Last year I was having a drink in a bar next to the hotel.
this guy with a young lady in tow dressed in a t-shirt came out from the hotel.
He was looking dazed and confused and asked me what day it was.
He then told me with a tired smile on his face that he had spent 3 days in the hotel room ???
he looked quite pleased with himself !!

I have visited Pattaya many times , on my own, and with my family. Pattaya is trying very hard to become a family resort and clear it's name as just a 'seedy resort'. Sure the bargirls are still there, but they are no more skimpily dressed than your average Westerner on a European Beach. Unless you go inside a gogo bar you won't find any nudity. The beaches aren't great , Jomtien is certainly better than the main beach. You can go anywhere on a songthaew (pick-up taxi) 10 baht standard rate around town. My personal choice of hotel is the Diana Inn on second road. A lot of expats who live in other parts of Thailand use this hotel when visiting Pattaya for a holiday. If you have some money to spend try the woodlands hotel, at the quiet end of Pattaya . Tripadvisor will give you plenty of info and reviews of hotels. Just a tip if you are going off-peak or for a lenghty stay 10days or more you might be able to negotiate a room rate discount. Have a good holiday.

It is very convenient in South Pattaya and has a mixed clientele, straight and gay.
