First, I'm a sophomore in high school. There's this girl in my Spanish class. She's a junior. Well, I'm crazy about this girl. She's smart, funny, beautiful, and nice. I do know that she's single. we're friends right now. I don't think she wants to go on a date right now. However, I'm determined to go on a date with her. so, how would you ask someone out? Also, we only met each other 5 weeks ago.

get her number, her msn, her myspace or whateva, and then act really interested in her for a while b4 u ask her out, then she will hopefully expecting it a bit more and would have had time to think about u n her.

did she just get out of a relationship? if she did, then dude, give her time, forgetting an -ex cant be done over night, she just needs time to breathe... and if she's didn't then ask her, you're not sure if she wants to go ona date or not so just ask her, but before that get to know her better, become friends first but dont just be that so the next day you can already ask her out, no.. get to know her well, and then show her that you're date material atleast she can give you one date.. maybe on a special day you can give her something that she really is into (fave color, country, song..etc.) so she would know that you really lsten to her.. so go for it! gud luck and GOD BLESS!

This could be tricky my friend, in a case like this, if it was me, i would just continue to be her friend until she see something that she likes in you enough to want to go out with you. Most girls don't feel comfortable dating their guy friends unless she see something in you that she likes. Just be patient and let her vibes make the moves on you, plus let it be her choice on whether or not she would want to go out with you. I hope this helps answering your question...
