You lack understanding you little boy or girl. Their is no such contradiction of the things you have ask. Religion is spiritual science while the science which you are stating is a material science. The meaning of Christ is anointed or in simple way appointed. Jesus was appointed by God to be on earth to save the sinners. Christians are the true followers of JesusChrist. You can not b e called Christian unless you follow the law of Jesus in the bile and have in faith in him and to his teachings.- Understand this phrase from the bible: For God so love the world that He gave His only begotten Son, those that ;believeth in Him shall not perished but shall have everlasting life.

Not to be hateful or anything, but I'd have to go with Christ and Christians. Because all of the Christians I have seen do not practice what Christ taught. Love and tolerance go right out the window when someone dares to question them. I don't think that's very Christlike.

Science and religion are compatible, only narrow-minded interpretations of either of both do not recognise this fact.

"Religion and Science are inter-twined with each other and cannot be separated. These are the two wings with which humanity must fly. One wing is not enough. Every religion which does not concern itself with Science is mere tradition, and that is not the essential. Therefore science, education and civilization are most important necessities for the full religious life."

On the other hand, some Christian seem to have strange interpretation of the teachings of Jesus.

Let's see, real scientists know that religion and science are in no conflict whatsoever. Christ seemed cool and hung out with the "bad" people while christians think they know what everybody should do. Need I say more?

I THINK RELIGION AND SCIENCE ARE MORE CONTROVERSIAL. I BELIEVE RELIGION IS MAN MADE. CHRISTAN FOLK SAY THE SCRIPTURES ARE INSPIRED BY GOD. AND IF YOU ASK THEM WHO GOD IS THEY DONT KNOW. AND THEY REFER TO GOD AS " HE " I COULD GO ON AND ON BUT I WONT. I DONT BELIEVE CHRIST IS COMING BACK AND I DONT BELIEVE HE FLEW OUT OF HERE BODILY AFTER DYING. EITHER. BELIEVE ME !
