Anyone know what a Fisherman's Pinch is?

maggots sold as bait are kept in sawdust and come in a container similar to chewing tobacco (i.e. copenhagen) and wiggling bait works the best so in the winter when ice fishing fishermen will keep a pinch of this maggot/sawdust mix tucked into their bottom lip as if it were chewing tobacco to keep them warm and wriggling
