One of my friends 7 year old son is suffering from acute lymphoblastic leukemia.?

Can anybody pls let me know if there is any organization, which helps financially.
His situation is more compounded by the fact that Matched Unrelated Donors transplants are not performed in India and he need to take him to US or Europe.

The estimated cost of treatment in USA is above USD $ 350K + $25K for the Bone Marrow.
The estimated cost of treatment in France (Robert Debre – Paris) is appx USD $200K for transplant + $25K for the Bone Marrow.
Over and above, there is additional cost for Travel, Stay for 4 months and Logistics etc.
All put together total estimated cost is around $300,000 USD.
Pls respond if you know any such organization.

Oh how terrible if you contact St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Tennessee they can help with the cost of treatment. This hospital specializes in treating childhood cancer. Payment is based on ability to pay and no child is turned away because his family cannot pay. Contact the US consulate they may have lists of people who can help with transportation and housing while in the US.Good luck and may God bless you and keep your friends child in his loving arms.

send the child to Christian Medical College, vellore, Tamil Nadu, India.. even if v r unable to support his treatmnet abroad, i assure he ll get the best possible treatment with applicable financial support

Is this the same case appeared in zee news on 16th February 2007? Is the child from Pune? Very complicated case. Till they make up the money, tell them to give Noni fruit juice to the child.

Cancer is a cellular malfunction.
Noni’s effect to cure cancer work in cellular level.
The sooner a cancer is detected, the greater the chance of remission.
Noni helps to fight the cancer in the following way
(A) By its anti carcinogenic agent

Noni juice contains 150 neutraceuticals. Among them six have been shown to fight cancer.

(1) Polysaccharides
Polysaccharides are found abundant in Noni. Polysaccharides block the adhesion of mutated cells to other cells, so stopping metastasis. Blocking the adhesion of mutated cells to new cell depends on the density of the polysaccharides sulphate groups, their mol.wt and their carbohydrate structure.
(2) Anthraquinones
•Damnacanthal, an anthraquinone inhibits the growth of malignant cells.
•Alizarin, another antraquinone block the blood circulation to the malignant tumors, hence prevents its growth.
•Anthraquinone reduces the cytochrome c (a hem protein whose main function is electron transport using the hem prosthetic group. (3) Epigollocatechin gallate (EGCg)
•EGCg is a polyphenolic flavonoid antioxidant found in abundant in Noni.
•EGCg prevent the growth of malignant cells and so induce apoptosis.

•Limonene one terpens has been shown to prevent mammary, liver, lungs carcinoma and also may be effective in treating leukemia.

The Golgi apparatus and reticuloendothelium then assemble the necessary compounds into a specific ‘package’ – that ‘package’ is sent from healthy cells to deranged cells to help in regeneration or rebuild the damaged cells.
