I had a relationship with this guy, won't mention his name, and in the time we were together i got pregnant to him by mistake. He is a lawyer and a massive a hole. He turned into a huge ahole the moment i told him i was going to keep the baby. Im 38 yrs so it was now or never. He said i will be going thru it on my own without his support, So i did. My daughter is now 16months and the most gorgeous little girl, she is a blessing. I believe her father should pay child support, but he won't. He said it was my choice to have her, so its my resposiblity to suppport her. I asked him if he would agree to a paternity test and he said no. I told him he should help support her financially but he said thats extortion and if i went ahead with child support he would take her off me. He's a lawyer and he said he would do all he could to take her off me if i force him to pay. I'm worried this ahole will take her off me or get access to her, he would mistreat her and i dont want that. jo

A** hole! Don't be intimidated by him!
First of all, get a group of people, such as an NGo to stand with you.
Second, get a good reputable lawyer to defend you.
And thirdly, determin to take him head on, including paternity test.
Do not be intimidated. There is no law which says that a child belongs to its father. No. In fact an infant is more likely belongs to its mother. There must be strong grounds to deny you that right, such as insanity, or anything which is danger to the life and welfare of the infant.
I am sure, he eventually will realise that you are not a women to play with and would ask for a settlement outside court. Bugger!
All the best!/

This is the reason for all the bad lawyer jokes which, by the way, are sometimes true. This guy is one of them who fits the bill. To be sure, you should very well slap an injunction on him so he'll have no choice but to submit to a paternity test. Once it is proved that he is indeed the father then you have all the right to sue his worthless immoral hide for everything that is rightfully yours. Your worries and fears are unfounded as he is just trying to scare you. He's running scared himself as he knows what you can and should do. So don't be afraid to do it. This guy is a real rat, lower then any other form of life on the planet imaginable! Since he is a lawyer then he knows very well what his lawful responsibility is. His intimidation and threats are a cheap cop out to run away from his parental duty. So don't let yourself be coerced or scared off. Get a lawyer of your own (even free legal aid) and nail that s.o.b to the wall. It's too bad you made a mistake getting stuck with this heartless clot headed scum bag. What ever though, he has a lot to answer for. And you have the joy of having such a wonderful blessing. Something that he will never know and neither that which he deserves.

certain. If a lady can request a newborn help through DNA Conformation, a father must be enticed to the flexibility to have a DNA attempt. I regularly note the daddy and newborn's facial useful aspects. Too make certain in the adventure that they are biologically bonded. the persons who lie about it are evil in accordance to the bible, the persons who ask too many questions have a lack of believe. If the international ought to in trouble-free terms be honest and not in any respect lie. it will be a regulation that a paternity attempt is needed regardless of the make certain needs. it would forestall paternity fraud and many different issues.

If you think that he is going to take 100% custody, I wouldn't pursue child support with him. Your daughter is probably best off not knowing her real dad in this case.
If you want the child support -- contact the state, give them his name and they will take care of the rest. They will set a court date and give the amount of child support owed. Just remember that if he pays support, he has the right to see the child.
It is not extortion asking for support, he did the deed and now he has to pay for it.

Go see a lawyer yourself, they can give you advice on what to do and how to go about it, but you also have the status quo, which means that you have you have been the primary caregiver of your daughter for the majority of her life which automatically gives you the upper hand in court for residency. If I was you, I would seriously consider getting legal advice.

Yes you should! To prove that you are not lying...Than after he is proven to be the father...make him sign away his rights so that later on he does not have regrets and tries to take your baby
