Sura 29:27 states clearly that, as far as Allah and the Qur'an are concerned, the only true prophets are those related to Isaac (Ishaq) or Jacob (Yaqoub); yet Muhammad, according to Muslim tradition, is related to Ishmael and not Isaac or Jacob

If it is then islam is just sad

The Biblical prophecies on the advent of the Prophet Muhammad are evidence of the truth of Islam for people who believe in the Bible.

In Deuteronomy 18, Moses stated that God told him: “I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers; I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him. If anyone does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name, I myself will call him to account.” (Deuteronomy 18:18-19).1
From these verses we conclude that the prophet in this prophecy must have the following three characteristics:

1) That he will be like Moses.

2) That he will come from the brothers of the Israelites, i.e. the Ishmaelites.

3) That God will put His words in to the mouth of this prophet and that he will declare what God commands him.

Sura 29:27 states " And we gave Isaac and Jacob, and ordained among his progeny Prophethood and Revelation, and We granted him his reward in this life, and he was in the Hereafter(of the company) of the righteous".

It does not state that, only Isaac and Jacob descendants are prophets. Their father, Abraham was a prophet too, so was Adam, Noah and other prophets that come before Isaac and Jacob. If you had that little knowledge, do not try to show your stupidity.

Your last line was insinuating that you are insulting Islam.
If you had no intention of insulting, then my apologies to you.

Most of the time, people pick up the half sentences and draw assumptions.

I know you may hate logical explanations, but may be some day you learn how to ask something which you dont understand.

By hating any religion cause no harm to them, but it shows your own character and religion you are in.

Say what have your logic (as you dont have any) to believe that it is not from the same God you believe! and is anywhere in any past scriptures (e.g. Bible, Torah etc.), it is said that this is the last message or last book or no book/message will come afterwards.

You are blindly following the foot steps of scholars who have nothing but assumptions, or your forefathers may be, this is what happened in normal society, they thought themselves as best.

I am converted also from logics and deep thoughts, God has guided me, say here is one of the logical proof that it this Quran is from God, in Quran the same God in which we believe says (summary only),

If you think that this is not from God then why not make just one sentence like that by yourself, and bring all the humans or else for your help to make one sentence only like in this book Quran, and if you cannot make, and you will never make such, then be prepare for the severe torment, prepared for the disbelievers.

Why the scholars of all the religions, never able to make one sentence like that, to disprove the challenge, and 1400 years have been passed!!! Do you or yours any scholar have the answer for this.

I know you will never be able to answer this challenge as your scholars cheats you (because there aim is not to earn the pleasure of God, but there power & rule), because you adopted the path of hate, only. And you dont understand the rule of games.

The verse you mentioned says:

And We bestowed on him Isaac and Jacob, and We established the prophethood and the Scripture among his seed, and We gave him his reward in the world, and lo! in the Hereafter he verily is among the righteous.

Does it say Isaac and his generations alone were exclusive to receive prophethood? No. Read it over and over again and it does NOT say that at all.
You are deliberately misinterpreting and it is sad. These verses are perfectly compatible with the following:

002-136

Say : We believe in God and that which is revealed unto us and that which was revealed unto Abraham, and ISHMAEL, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the tribes, and that which Moses and Jesus received, and that which the prophets received from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and unto Him we have surrendered.
________________________________
The verse you mentioned does NOT exclude Ishmael and the one I have quoted includes him.
Don't spread hatred, instead, join hands with the tolerant from every religion and share your knowledge.
Cheers and God bless.

Not true at all.

Balaam was considered a prophet, but he wasn't related to either one. He was a Mesopotamian.

Paul also encountered Gentiles who were said to have the gift of prophecy.

You have to be careful of religions that don't treat all human beings as equal. In God's eyes, we're equal, and any religion that doesn't reflect this philosophy can't possibly have God's intent and teachings in mind.
