I am wanting to join the police and want to know what you have to do to get into the police.
And also when they are next recruiting or how i can find out more.

Try http://www.staffordshire.police.uk/careers/po/index.htm if they aren't recruiting officers look into being a Special (voluntry police officer) its a great way to find out if you like it before you put yourself through the whole process.
Also the book: How to pass the new police selection process by H. Tolley, Catherine Tolley, and Billy Hodge
is very informative.

Your best chance of being accepted as a recruit is to be ethnic, qualifications don't matter as you will meet the criteria if you are coloured, disabled, homosexual or an illegal migrant. The white indigenous English need not apply.

I'd try this - although very dificult - pick up a phone and call them. Once someone answers, wait for the "Hello?"....then ask.
