I have managed to connect everything properly to transfer the video using Windows Movie Maker and even edit everything. But when I get to the part to save it, It starts the process goes to 2% completed and the minutes left to record just keeps counting. How do I get it to save? Or how do I get it to be able to be sent in an email?

Windows Movie Maker is not the program to save your movie but its a program to manipulate your movie.....Have you installed the software that came with your camera...You should be able to save through that software...Or try connecting your camera through USB cable and your cameras memory should show up as another drive in "My Computer"....Open that and then cut or copy and paste or save it wherever you want it.
