If you don't feel happy then you can have your own life. But this doesn't mean you should escape from them, They will need you and you will ever need them. Your life will be happy and balanced when you have a normal life with them, when you care for them even when they are not showing their love. Do make anything that you will regret in future.

if you mean your parents are making things hard for you and your partner, then yes you and your partner are more important, your parents have to let you go and they have to stand by your choices whether the like them or not, if you are a grown adult you make your own choices in life and its not all about pleasing your parents anymore, if you are happy then they should be happy for you, if they are not then thats their choice its your life be happy for your self no one else xx

My husband and I are a unit - we love and care for our family and friends but if ANYONE tries to upset us or come between us they would come off worse. Unfortunately my in-laws found out the hard way they they will always come second to me.
