I want some volume on my top hair, since my face can look extremely round most of the time. How can I achieve that? I don't know how to back comb properly, so can you, please, tell me how?

My hair is layered and upto my shoulders. It is also curly towards the middle and end. I also plan to wear a flower on my hair.

You may need to get some shorter layers put in to make your hair not lay as flat. Your best bet would be to go to a trusted hair stylist and ask their advice.

Try large hot curlers or a large barrel curling iron. Start with the front of your hair directly on top and curl. Work your way back to the back top of your head. This will add lots of volume. Another way is to add a volumizer and blowdry the top by flipping your head down and blowdrying it. Before standing back up, spray your hair with hairspray and let it dry a minute, then flip back up. Finger style and spray again, lightly.

I know your hair is layered, but have you got short layers on top. this really gives volume. around the crown of your head and your face. try it and see.
