There's lots of things they could do. They could be jr. bridesmaids, light candles, hand out programs, ask guest to sign the guest book, pass out bubbles/rice/confetti/favors, serve punch or coffee, hand out cake, or even do a reading. Really, it's up to you.

JR. Bridesmaids! I have 2 cousins about the same age who I just adore and a child I have babysat since she was 5 years old and now shes 10 (I picked her up from her first day of school ever!) that I think just hung the moon, and I couldn't dream about gettin married with out those 3 girls up there! Thus, I have 3 jrs! I highly reccommend Alfred Angelo dresses if you decide to do that, they make every dress they have in Jr. Bridesmaid sizes too, so they can match the bridesmaids, thats the route we went and it looks so cute! They look way better that way than some of the davids bridal type ones that you just get to coordinate with what your bridesmaids have, adn we have just in general had the best luck with that company! hope this helps! good luck and congrats!

You can make them "junior bridesmaids" I have been to several weddings recently that did this and it worked out great. The juniors helped keep an eye on the flower girl and ring bearer - one jr maid accompained each of the "littler ones" down the aisle - which ensured the little ones maid it w/out the usual drama!

Junior bridesmaids? Other than that, flower girls are the only other position that would be acceptible for them. Why do you think they're too old?

I would make them junior bridesmaids or hostesses. You can also make them your special helpers while you get ready for the wedding; they will feel special and like they are an important part of the wedding.

Have your nieces be the junior bridesmaids. And if you dont want to do that, then have one hand out bulletins and have the other be the guest book signer!
