... I am soo sick of hearing people say that Jesus wasn't the son of God just a good man and a prophet. Look either he was what he says he was, "the son of God", or he was a lunitic and a liar. I mean who would have gone through what he did if he wasn't who he said he was? He would of had to been crazy. So quit taking the easy way out and saying "that Jesus was just a good guy and not the son of God". As far as my stance goes I belive he was exactly what he said he was. He came here to die for our sins that we may have life eternal in hevan. I welcome your opinon on the matter. I only ask you be respectful wether you belive or not.

That's a good point you make ,but Jesus Himself said"seeing they may see and not perceive ,hearing they may hear and not listen".
You will always have those people who will say "come down from the Cross and we will believe you".Notice that that kind of proof was only afforded to Thomas.

We Muslim believes that Jesus(pbuh) is one of Allah s.w.t Prophet..He was a Prophet with many miracles and after him came Prophet Muhammad(pbuh). Nothing cant change that fact and Muslims around the world will always believe this facts..Jesus was not God's Son nor He is God..He was not a liar either.. The thing is your religion has been given the false information. The True Bible in Jesus era is the most accurate after Quran and the New Bible now in the present is corrupted and it have been altered so many times to suit the need of today's lifestyle.. I can bet if you have the chance to read the true bible, you will dissapointed and angry that you have waste believing in the false.. Wake up my friend..its not too late..we dont ask you to be a muslim..we encourage you to understand the Quran..and you will get the better picture of Islam.. The late Princess Diana almost converted to Islam and might be converted..and nobody knows this..and somebody murder her to avoid her tarnishing the Royal family of England.. just think...

the lord, lunatic, liar augment only works if you assume that everything in the NT said by Jesus and his followers actually happened.

since most non-Christians do not view the NT as historically accurate the claim is quite easy to make that words were put in his mouth by authors decades after his death.

so the argument is not illogical or nessicarly incorrect. It just dose not happen to fix into your belief system.

I hope this helps you understand why people say this.

Actually there are several other options:

- Jesus was a great man and his followers stretched the truth a little (or a lot) in their writings about him

- Jesus was a great man, his followers wrote basically ther truth but their works were edited to deify him

- The story of Jesus was about as real as the 12 Labours of Hercules.

Even if he was a son of this God what would his dying accomplish? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

No one is responcible for anyones actions but their own! No need for sin!

Everyone must be responcibile for what they do! No use for salvation!

As for an after life according to the bible our fate was deturmined when this God created the souls! Some he created for Hell some for Heaven! You can't be anything other then this God created you to be so why waste you time worrying about where you are going! YOU GO WHERE GOD CREATED YOU TO GO! THAT IS IT!

I represent the Muslims to say that,

To us Jesus was a prophet, a genuine prophet. Though we do not think he's the son of God, we still believe that he's a prophet. Just like any other prophet, like Noah, Moses and Abraham.

Hmm, I have to go with, the latter, assuming he existed in the first place, and was not just a compilation of different stories meant to appeal to different potential converts..
