It is all right to talk to yourself while reflecting. This is good because it makes your thoughts more salient to yourself. In the spirit of cognitive-behavioural therapy, this is also encouraged for people who are easily distracted or impulsive.

Now, the problem lies with the people around you, who starts to make judgments about you because of what you do. I think they are the ones who really have problems when they become so judgmental.

I would suggest that you remain who you are, and stay focused on what you do.

You will find that 80% of people are in the same boat as you, however are too scared to admit it due to the common misconception that "talking to yourself is the first sign of madness"

I think it is normal and very healthy, hey - if you can't even communicate with yourself, how are you going to become s sociable person.

So long as you are not the only person that you talk to, i can see no problem with it.

Reflecting on yourself is a sign that you like to execute plans properly, you know, making sure that you are successful in achieving whatever it is that you have set out to do.

I think you are an intelligent person, and anyone who says otherwise doesn't know neirly as much as you do.

hi,

self reflection is a sign of those who are willing to check on themselves frequently. and it is definitely a good sign to know you are concerned whether you are living your life correctly.

too often people these days just follow the popular opinion or concensus and do not reflect on their actions.

when your heart is at peace, you can follow the voice of your heart since there will be no prejudiced voices to distract you.

not to worry - you are definitely not abnormal and there is nothing wrong with a bit of self reflection now and then. remember only the humble and self conscious engage in self reflection often ... and hopefully that is not to reflect on superficial issues (like that annoying pimple growing on the tip of your nose) ... cause that is besides the point :)

cheers !

It isnt good at anytime for anyone to dwell on themselves. Reflecting on ones self is not always good. Yes it is good to give your self time. But too much of that is bad.

Talking to your self is not bad...even i do it. I dont think it is a bad thing at all.

~ Jasmine... Who gave you your voice? That's correct... the Lord gave it to you. As to why you talk to yourself, perhaps you just want to hear the Lords voice speaking to you through your own voice... that's totally cool!

~ As for reflecting on yourself... a lot... so what? Who is more important than you, in your own eyes? Who is responsible for the decisions you make about your own life?

~ I feel that it is a good thing you are doing, Jasmine.

~ My prayer for you would be that you continue to be a Proverbs 31:10-31 woman.

why is that bad? i think we all reflect on our inner self quiet often. your just trying to make sense of things.

now if your doing it will in public out loud or if you start arguing back at yourself then you have a problem.

Reflection is good.

Talking to oneself can be equated to auto-ero-stimulation. It's all good.
