I've been dating a girl for a few months now without actually being "with her" a friend of mine from worked hooked us up while I'm away at college.... we're still going good but have hit that point where we love eachother very much but the newness is gone.... if something that lasts that long without actually physically being there with the other person yet... does it mean it's meant to be? or what?

I think you should meet up with her! That will start up the spark again! Spend some quality time together and talk it over! If you're at college i'm sure you could get away at the weekends or something!
Try having a more intimate relationship! Then you will never want to leave her!

99% of relationships lose that "newness feeling" but that doesn't have to change anything at all. If you love this woman and she loves you that is all that matters and as long as that doesn't change than your relationship will be fine.

Sex is an important part of a relationship but it isn't the entire package. I think you both should be proud that you have remained intimate without the physical technicalities.

Have you talked to her about any of this? Maybe she is wondering the same thing also....communication is so important in a relationship....be open and honest and lay it all out so that you both are on the same page.

Just talk to her about the future of your relationship...find out what she expects, wants, and how she honestly feels about you and your relationship with her. That should answer a lot of your questions.

I think that spending time to get to know each other is great - too many people jump in the sack too quickly and forget the true meaning of companionship! Mind you a few months is a little steep! Talk to her, ask her if she wants to draw a line or get jiggy!! Im sure that shes wondering exactly the same thing as you are!!

No It doesnt mean it was meant to be...it means you got caught up in emails...which isnt bad.....sometimes meeting that way youve told the person many things before you actually meet...so they do have a clue....I still think it's better than leaving a party with someone you dont know at all.

if you 2 love each other a lot for that long..you comfortable with each other. its obviously a good thing.

(before reading the next bit...do you believe in premarital sex?....i dont so i'll give you advice from that POV & yo decide wether to "do it" now or wait for that k? lol)

it might be time for a bigger step...like maybe marriage..or perhaps a long engagment if niether of you are quite ready yet...

i dont think so, its so much different when you are with a person talking to them face to face. you could love taliing to her but then she could be a totally different person in front of you. this distance thing is so tricky and men usually think they in love because the woman isnt ther to nag them or throw a tantrum when things get rough but this maybe real.. my advice, dont go falling head over heals before you have been together, she may want a lot more form you than you are willing to give. ba careful

Doesn't mean much more than if you were actually in each others presence. It's a good thing though now spend some face- to- face time with her.

You reading too much into the "being with them" the question you need to ask is are you happy not getting any? I am sure you could get somewhere else, but her reputation of not giving in is that not admirable?
