with the closeness you have with this guy, you can be misinterpreted for being flirt. I think you should not interfere with their problem first and let the girl know you are just there as a friend and not as a flirt. Anyways, it's hard to convince his ex-gf that you aren't flirting. Better leave for awhile and let both of them think
