i burnt my lips w/ my hair straightener...dont ask...and my lips are all puffy and red and are peeling...is it permanent or will it go away...and how long will it take and what can i do 2 make it go away

Good grief, I don't know how you managed that! That must be so painful. Go and see your GP and have the burns checked out. If they're really bad, they'll prescribe an ointment for you. But I think you're in for at least a week of pain and discomfort. If your GP says the burns are superficial, then Paw Paw ointment is wonderful and will really help to increase your recovery time. You can get it from Supermarkets, Pharmacies and Health food stores. Good Luck!

it will go away, use some Carmex
