Seeking School Photographer - Old Class Photos?

Question

I am seeking the contact information for a business called 'Tropical School Photographics' who took a lot of class photos for schools in the Mackay (QLD, Australia) region during the early 1990s.

Granted, this business may longer exist but I was hoping someone out there may know more than I do of their whereabouts and/or history.

I have tried searching under the business name but to no avail.

Hey Fire Storm,

Did this photographer produce year books? His name should be given in the year books. You should be able to go, or write, to a school that used that service, see if they have any year books.

Also, the business registration should provide some clues is it was a registered business, seems you went that way already though.

Initially try to Google the business name. You can ask some of the teachers, that were there at the time, they might know or have heard something. Ask some of the students, from that period, sometimes one of them might have seen the photographer, in a place where he could be located. Try your local town hall, and see if they have any records of the business, if it was registered. Try the school, or the school administration department, and see if they have any records pertaining to the business.
