My name is Alexandra.

I have mixed feelings about it. I hated it when I was younger, and went by Alex. Somehow my name changed to Ally.

If Alexandra weren't so long, I would go by it, now that I am an adult. It's just too long to say all the time.

However, I do think it is a beautiful name!

My name is Ria Korinne and I used to hate it. Imagine going through school being called diarrhoea and rear end. They even had a song. I like my name now though, it means fair maiden from the mouth of the river. I like it anyway. When I was little I wanted to be called Skye.

My name's Jaime (pronounced Jamie) - I'm used to it, it's my name so I wouldn't change it! Only problem is people think I'm a man when they see it written down, then don't know how to pronounce it and then never spell it right ...but apart from that it's fine ;0)

My name is Joy and I hated it at first because I wanted something more "normal" like Kate or Sarah (not to insult anyone, I was 10 or 12 at the time). But now I appreciate my name because it is somewhat unique and I can appreciate why my mom named me Joy. She had 2 boys before me and then she miscarried and she thought she lost her girl and was really sad about it. Then she had me and I brought her "Joy"! (sorry about my teenage years mom) Now I have a little girl and I named her Jenesis (beginning) Amora (love) because for me and my husband she was the beginning of our love.

Mines Melissa and luckily I like it, I can't really imagine being called anything else! My middle name is Victoria which I don't mind but I hate my last name! It's Marshman-yep decending from people who worked in the Marshes........

Oh to Melodee above me I also get called Smell Melly-although it tends to just be Smell!!

My name is Karen and I hate it. I get called Kaz, have been since I was little and I quite like that. My mum called me Jeepy though. It's short for Jeepster because I sang it all the time when I was young. It's a T-Rex song.
