I've noticed that nice looking girls nowadays tend to go for the ugly guys who wear earrings, know how to party, and dress with their sports jerseys. Why is that? I have never been able to understand that. I would think that a woman would choose the man that could offer her the most right? I mean that makes more logical sense. Someone whose financially secure, good looking, or both. I've been in situations where I'm trying to get with a girl and she seems to like me but then she tells me she has a boyfriend. When I see the boyfriend, he's not exactly a lady's man. I mean I don't consider myself a hunk or lady's man but I'm average and in many cases I'm better looking and can offer more to those girls financially as well. I also know how to party but am not a crazy party guy who gets wasted. Can someone please explain this to me?

I prefer the nice guy because they know how to treat a lady and when they say that they are going to be there for you they always are.
Don't get me wrong some bad boys will also be there for you and they will treat you right but they are also more likely to let you down. I have a friend who would always go for the bad boy because she liked the thrill of the chase and she just thought that they were more exciting. However she was ALWAYS treated badly by them and she just wouldn't learn from her mistakes. That was until she met her husband he was a nice guy and when she first met him she thought that he was boring and dull and she said that he was just too nice. But to cut a long story short she gave him a chance and they are now together and married.
There are many ladies that go for bad boys because they like the excitement and they think that it's good to be seen with a bad boy that just doesn't care and is 'cool'. However there are as many ladies out there that love a nice guy and love the fact that he is responsible and thoughtful and will rub your feet if you ask him too and will be there for you completely

Since every woman is an individual and has her own likes and dislikes and you've never seen what EVERY woman on this planet likes you'll have to ask those who you've witnessed this behavior from.

it's not that we like bad boys and it's definitely not that we don't want a guy that can financially support us... it's just we have noticed that good looking guys are stuck up and tend to cheat since they get more girl attention. and the whole ugly guy knowing how to dress makes it better, since we know they aren't the most attractive fish in the sea, at least they care enough to try! you hardly see a nice looking woman with a complete nerd! plus, there is such a thing as TOO nice. if you are constantly buying things for us and waving in our face you have all the money and that we HAVE to depend on you... um yeah. I like the gifts, but i work too and would like to help pay for dinner every now and then. plus your particular problem could be that you come across as one of those "ew- i'm so much better than him, why not me?:" whiny types. just be confident and be yourself... don't wave money around and be a gentleman.

Don't try to figure us out, 'cause when it comes to the guys we like, we don't exactly have a set prototype. I know to you guys it may seem as complicated as brain surgery, but it really isn't.
Honestly, I think that as long as you're confident (but not cocky), there will be girls who'll notice you.
