Jews are a minority and the amount of practicing Jews is decreasing. In order to be considered Jewish, a person must first have a Jewish mother. And if Gentile man marries a Jewish woman, then there is a possibility that they will decide to raise the baby as gentile. Because there are so few Jews and the rabbi believes that there should be more Jews, he wants to encourage Jewish men and woman to marry and raise more Jews. I doubt there is any historical basis for the claim that gentle women are whores, other than the fact they aren't bound to the Jewish laws and therefore are free to be more promiscuous. Though there could be some basis for that claim from some Jewish text that states Gentile woman engage in some sort of promiscuous behavior. But I think the most probable explanation comes from the actual meaning of the Jewish term that refers to gentile woman.
"Shiksa - the Jewish term for a Gentile woman, from the root word sheigetz meaning “abomination” or “whore.”" http://www.davidduke.com/general/the-quotation-on-page-264-is-unbelievable-prove-it_359.html
Shikselke - a Gentile little girl, meaning “little female abomination.”
That being said, most Jews don't consider Gentile woman whores. This rabbi is an exception.

As far as I know, the reason why they want to prevent intermarriages is because it might bring in a decline of the Jewish nation! And you're only Jewish if your mom was Jewish! So if the woman doesn't convert to Judaism, then it's not good!

I dont know, I've never heard one use that reason. Usually it is something on the lines of "trying to mix two contradictory religious ideas is a recipe for sadness on both sides of the relationship, and utter confusion for any resulting children". But if you want to make up some silly stories, well, you would not be the first..

I don't think a rabbi would make this claim. This is not what Jews believe, typically, and there are a lot of intermarriages anyway.

Galations 5:4-Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
Matthew 15:6-And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.
