I know I didn't! Thats only cuz I'm single. Its fun when ur a little kid & u get to throw those little parties & give out valentines...but when you get older its just a reminder that you don't have anyone. It makes me sad & its my least favorite holiday of the year now. How many of u single people out there agree with me??

It was valentine's day?

eh, it doesn't depress me. Actually, it makes me glad that I don't have to think up a gift for someone. I'm bad at that.

I had a good night with a new girl I am hoping to get a relationship with. I am a hopeless romantic like yourself and havent had a girlfriend in almost 4 years. It's great to be back!!!!!

Made us a steak and lobster dinner at my house and we played some pool and sat on the couch and chatted for a few hours afterwards. It was a swell evening and great 2nd date!

NO WAY - I was tore up inside all day long. My wife died in June 2006 - so no I didn't enjoy being alone, I didn't enjoy listening to everyone talk about how much fun they were going to have with their spouse or their complaining about Valentines and having to buy something or whateve. and no fun remembering everything - and having it tear my guts out. - no fun - I was thankful to be alive another day.

I am single and I hate it!! But, my kids love it, so for the sake of them we had a lot of fun. I cant live in MY pity party and teach them that negative energy...thats too bad because i really like to feel sorry for myself!!! lol

Omg....I studied on Valentine's day....(yes, i know very sad but whatever lol). I completely agree with you about how it reminds us how we don't have anyone to share it with, for those who are alone. It would be nice to have someone to share V-day with...

its not even a holiday... everyone is expected to study, work or go on wth their nrmal lives till evening. however myself i rather enjoyed it tho i ws a lone.. went fr a swim n saloon later... my bf works n leaves in a nother town so we were apart busy workin our buts off. however cant say it ws a terrible day for me as i did somethn that makes me happy i wd suggest u do the same for urself so u dnt feel that bad.

I can't say i agree with you. My single friends and I watched love movies, ate chocolate, and got drunk on wine. It was a fantastic day!
