Production of turkey eggs is very difficult. Turkeys have the shortest reproductive cycle and lowest egg production of any poultry. My guess is that if they were more available, you would see them on grocery shelves, and they would be more well known and acceptable.

My father-in-law used to have a pet turkey. He would save the eggs for us - he didn't like them. They were very good - big, stronger taste and the yolks were darker than chicken eggs. I would buy them if I saw them for sale. Duck eggs are delicious; I used to get them at an Irish food shop.

Yes we used to eat turkey eggs as a kid......I think the reason we don't eat them now is that usually they are too big to have with soldiers (Like goose eggs)......maybe we should use them for cooking with tho'

I cant remember what they tasted like, or even if they tasted any different to normal chicken eggs although I presume they do.

You can eat turkey eggs if you can find a turkey farmer willing to sell them to you; they can be extremely expensive but it would be a taste treat (they really are quite good). They are also quite rich in taste the yolks are much darker than regular chicken eggs.
You can also eat alligator, snake, and turtle eggs

Turkey eggs are not that bad ....really rich, most people use them in baking....several bakeries in Texas use them...a little goes a long way. Ostrich eggs are pretty good too.

Because they are not good. The same as duck's. Duck's can be used in baking though.
