I have a ride-along coming up and it says I should dress nicely, "business casual". However, I want to be comfortable...

wear jeans and a sweatshirt. all the ride a longs i have dealt with dress casual, comfortable. although if it says business casual wear pants and a sweater. i would probably go with the jeans, just make sure you look nice though. don't wear something with holes, or is worn out. you dont want to look like an arrestee!!!

Nice pants and a nice shirt...for guys Khakis and a polo shirt...for a woman..nice slacks/dress pants with a button up shirt

That depends on how hot the officer is that you are riding along with. I just love a man in a uniform!!!

i would wear sweats...what if you need to run or something...or maybe a bulletproof vest...
