One thing's for sure. Pride always has better fight cards. The Second Coming is gonna be sick! 3 champions fighting, 4 if u count Shogun (champion w/o a belt). You also got Nakamura, Sakurai, Frank Trigg, Alistair Overeem, and Nogueira. Josh Barnett is gonna be commentating too, should be hilarious.
All the good original fighters UFC has is Chuck, Tito, and GSP. Otherwise u can't compare the rest of them to the quality of Pride.
Pride is alot better for pushing the action as well. In pride you really dont see a lapses of stalling like u do frequently in UFC. That last UFC, Sylvia vs. Lutter during the 1st minute i counted 4 punches thrown maybe... I'd like to see some yellow cards there!
As far as the cards AdamG's is pretty good. Although needs to throw in guys like Barnett, Hunt, Fujita.
Note* Dan Henderson is as overated as Franklin so....
Gomi and Penn fought before i think and Penn won, but would be a good rematch

You can't say any PRIDE fighter. Bcause you are only talking abot 3 or 4 Fedor Wanderlei Silva, Rua....
Now Anderson Silva was a Pride fighter but is now a UFC fighter. Rampage was a UFC fighter then went to PRIDE and came back. Cro-Cop is a great kick boxer but has been shown he can't beat the well trained ground fighters. As for your statement about it was proven in UFC 67. I saw Herring get his *** handed to himon the UFN the week before. And Rampage got a cheesy win over a washed up 40 year old fighter. As for Cro-Cop he was fighting a no body and it wasn't that great of a win. Look at what Chuck did to Tito, Babalu and Cotoure and tell me he wouldn't whip Rampages ***.
I don't want to see a UFC vs PRIDE show. I will wait unti UFC wipes PRIDE off the map and takes on all PRIDES best fighters for their own.
This argument has been going on ever since the whole Liddell vs Silva fight idea. And it is old. It's rather like talking about when WWE took over WCW

I practice MMA warring activities and characteristic had the buzz to paintings with Jon Jones. All i'm waiting to declare is this guy is the future of MMA and ought to sometime carry LHW and HW titles. i ought to positioned the farm on that reality. He for particular has the shape, length, athleticism, wrestling and marvelous to be unstoppable. he will KO Rampage with in 2 rounds and ought to harm Silva. Silva is through ability of a few distance a significantly better striker yet w/ Bones attain and unorthodox marvelous he'd furnish Silva complications on his ft. he's have an undemanding time getting Silva to the groud too, look how undemanding it grew to grow to be for Sonnen. He'd truly beat Silva fairly undemanding. he's really 23 and ought to improve actual right into a lots more beneficial guy. he will bypass as a lot as HW and dominate there too. at the same time as it is all reported and finished, he stands proud because the ideal to ever step interior the cage, era! in an attempt to respond to your question, he's now no longer over hyped and he'd ruled anybody he's challenged. Why improve Shogun in delight? it is apples to oranges. He destroyed Shogun, made him look amateurish. Bader and Hamil too, walked through them like they have been little children. Rampage will haven't any answer for him. no one will.

Okay, I agree with you that Pride has a larger talent pool than the UFC, but I would never count out a UFC fighter's chances.
Here are the matchups I would most like to see.
Heavyweight:
Sylvia vs. Fedor (Fedor wins - he's the best in the world)
CroCop vs. Arlovski - technically both in UFC, but CroCop is a Pride fighter at heart (CroCop wins by KO)
LHW:
Chuck Liddell vs. Mauricio Shogun Rua (Rua's the real #1)
Tito Ortiz vs. Wenderlai Silva (Ortiz won before and would win again)
Michael Bisping vs. Antonio Rogiero Noguiera (Noguiera by sub)
Babalu vs. Ricardo Arona (Arona by TKO)
Middleweight:
Anderson Silva vs. Ryo Chonan (Silva avenges his previous loss to Chonan)
Rich Franklin vs. Dan Henderson (Franklin by TKO, Henderson is overrated)
Mike Swick vs. Denis Kang (Kang by TKO)
Welterweight:
Not really applicable as Pride doesnt' have this weight class.
For the record, St. Pierre would own any Pride fighter around this weight class, including Gomi.
Lightweight:
Gomi vs. BJ Penn (Gomi by TKO)
Sakurai vs. Sherk (Sakurai by TKO)
