I would take her for a new one. I had a cast on my ankle that got a bit wet on the bottom. When it dried i didnt realise it had moved and my foot had set in the wrong position. It took months of pain full physio to fix and its still not right, i will prob have problems with it when im older too. Doctors see kids with damaged plasters all the time they know what kids are like so dont worry about taking her along to get it fixed. I hope she is feeling better soon x

Even if you dry it out it will still smell like a dirty wet sock. Just go to the doctor that put the cast on and they might be able to change it. You will want to change it because that smell is unberable.

If I were you I'd call the doctor. If this is a cast that shouldn't get wet you could wind up with mold growing in there which won't do her arm or basic health any good at all.

You can try a hair dryer or fan, but if it is very wet then she is going to experience possible mildew or growth of fungus on the area that is covered. Call the doctor and see what they suggest!
