No, Yes, Maybe ! Your poll is so vague is has no meaning. #1-what country ? #2-Religion is to vast and also as vague as your question. I do feel that immagration to the United States needs some review and revision. Paramount should be what the individual seeking to immigrate can/will do to benefit the United States. Not what they can get for free from the tax paying citizens of our country.

what makes this country stand out and work(sort of) is freedom of religion. most battles going on today within countries are based on religious perspectives. i like the fact that Tom can love jesus and Tim can love allah and together we can still be in the same room and talk about things pointless of the fact that Tom love jesus and Tim love allah.

The problem with what you suggest is that it doesn't take into account that people can and have changed religious beliefs they were raised in.

why would they need to? and it doesn't make logistical sense, as a member of one group i would declare myself a member of another to keep their numbers high. plus you have to choose which religions you recognize, Christianity (do you count each sect of Christianity), hindu, muslim, wiccan?
