i.e., twice as fast as modern anthropoligists (who believe dogs were first domesticated 12,000 years ago), then you believe that evolution by artificial selection occurs at a rate twice as fast as we now believe.
The implications for macro-evolution are of course enormous. It happened even faster than any of us Evolutionists could have imagined!

Never heard of the Bishop Ussher timeline. Thank you. It's interesting to read on. From questions I've asked, YECs would assert that the tree rings do not indicate such an old Earth because our assumption about tree-rings is wrong. After all, no one has observed a tree grow for thousands of years and then dissect it. This is how they handle other things like radio-carbon dating, claiming that our assumptions about the evidence is flawed. They become strict empiricists or Humean in their epistemology... at least for the five minutes they are dealing with this question. It makes them feel sciency.

No I don't take such arrogance as proof of anything.Get with the program. Evolution is real, accepted and bonifide .
