I'm Persian. I used to live in an Islamic Arabic country with a lot of discrimination against Persians.
The salary for Persians are one of the lowest in that country!
The hatred has its roots in history.
My Islamic teacher was a bitter woman! She always had something to say in class to belittle the Persian students!
My eldest brother used to get beat up in school because he was Persian! He has lots of stories about what the teachers and students called him in school! So my younger brother pretended to be an Arab so he would get respect from others, and he did!

There are many forms of Islam. Many disagree with each others policies because some are more extreme than others, but all Muslim prefer other Muslims over "Infidels" any day.
