I know eczema patients suffer emotionally and mentally from this skin disease. Especially, girls, they can't wear nice clothes because of the skin..because I'm one too. I have a really serious question to ask, is there any chance for eczema patients to get married? I know marrying a person doesn't depends on their outlook. But, this is reality, my heart really ache when I know that there're many men who love a woman, but to talk about marriage, that's other matter. Because I'm a girl, I know I'll not be married in the future. But, to think of the skin condition, how to have sex with your husband if you have eczema? That's the point, so I hope you guys can give me an answer...no jokes and pranks please.

I am a guy who is also suffering from eczema so I totally understand the situation you are in and what you are experiencing. First of all, you should start to manage your condition so that it does not flare up or get worse. Identify what you are allergic to, seafood, sun, sweat or stress.Or it could be something else that will trigger it. So long you control it, it should be fine.

Next, marriage is more than just exterior beauty. There will be men out there who appreciates who you are. Moreover, you have not met the right person yet, so don't give up. If you are married to your husband, why will he mind about your skin when having sex? He loves you, thats why he married you and he will be there for you in sickness and in health. And if you starting controlling your eczema, maybe it will go away eventually.

I had horrible eczema now mainly due to stress and sun, but there was a period where it totally cleared. So it is possible to control eczema.

Don't give up!

I am an eczema sufferer and I am married with kids. Not to boast, but to share my story, I even had 4 boyfriends before meeting my current husband.

I can understand how you feel. When I had my outbreaks, I felt totally ugly. It didn't matter what my husband said.

However, this is what I have learnt.....what you feel comes from deep inside...you have to love yourself and feel secure despite outward appearances. I can say this for sure - men are attracted to women who are confident about themselves.

There are ways to deal with your eczema. Even if you can't cure it completely, you can reduce the itchiness and frequency of outbreaks.

There is a newsletter that I subscribe to currently. It gives out free tips and is run by another eczema sufferer. Basically, she managed to treat herself by mainly natural methods with little side effects. You can sign up here http://www.eczematreatmentsecrets.com

There is hope. You are still young and there is plenty of time to get hitched. Instead, focus your energies on strengthening yourself and find out how best to treat yourself.

I have eczema, and I am getting married soon. I have also had many healthy relationships in which the man found me sexy and attractive unconditionally. You wouldn't want to marry a man that was that superficial anyway, would you? You will find someone who finds you absolutely beautiful on the inside and out. I find that we tend to be more self-conscious than is necessary. Though we feel it is terribly severe and noticeable, others may not see it that way. Chin up .

ok.....slow down! how old are you? listen.....i have eczema too. the point is, im married. eczema is not pretty to look at, but its also not contagious! if some guy wont get serious with you just because of THAT then he's not worthy of you! the right man will come along, the right man will love YOU FOR YOU, and the right man wont CARE about that!

My sister has it and she has used products that have it well under control. With relaxation and meditation, it subsides. She hasn't had redness for a long time. Also, there are prescription products that work wonders.
