Why should I be forced to love a god out of fear of damnmation? I didn't ask to be here.

God is not forceful, He's gentle and loving.

Supreme God is a principle. This principle is in observer stance, and has no expectations. From this principle many forms are created (such as white light creates many colors with the use of a prism). Thus, God comes in many forms. In fact, we all have a direct component of God inside of us, known as the soul.
As per the laws of karma a person will experience happiness and unhappiness. This happens if one loves God or not.
In truth, since God is ultimately a principle one can be atheist and still reach what theist call 'God-realization'. Atheist can see the universal energy purely from a scientific point of view and reach harmony with that energy.
There is no fear in love. God loves us without expectation, and does not differentiate between us and him/her self.

God never force us to love him. He give the freedom and free will since the creation of the very first human being, Adam and Eve. He he have used the robotic act as FORCE to LOVE then Adam and Eve would not sinned against God and no death will occur on this earth. But the things as you know know is the result of GOD NOT USING FORCE LOVE. That is pretty and fair also to Satan (i would say) :)

It is a contradiction to force anybody into loving anything ! At best you have no feelings one way or the other. Of course you asked to be here, how ever else would you have been born ? As your mother was pregnant your very soul was competing with other souls roaming around her, as to whom would incarnate into the foetus that she was preparing to become a child. You may not have any feelings for God, simply because you need to make yourself more aware of Him, of your existence and of His Creation, of which you are part.

Youre not FORCED...God gives us free will as humans..he gives US the power to decide whether we get to love him or not...of course satan will make you belive that we HAVE to do all sorts of things in order to be loved by god...but really we dont have to do anything...God loves you just as much as he loves the most famous spiritual leaders in the world...God does make it clear to love him but "fear" meaning, aware of what he can do...because he is very powerfull...the most powerful..but all he asks of us is that we seek him and love him back...youre not forced..God put YOU, whoever you are, on this planet earth for a specific reason. You'll find out that reason by asking Him, because He created you, he knows whats gna happen in ur life and what ur doing rite this second...just pray one prayer thats all..ask him to come into your heart...he will...and he wont hurt you i promise..its better to take a chance and believe me than to refuse and suffer consequences...God is good...hes not guilting you into doing anything, hes not forcing you to do anything....he just wants love in return :) hope you listen girl cuz hes crazy madly in love with you!!!

You shouldn't. Cheer up. If you don't want to do something, all of heaven couldn't make you. God included.
Do what you want, don't worry about God. You never asked to be here, so you have a right to do what you want.
If you had asked to be here, you might be bound by laws and morality, but since you didn't, you are free to do anything you please.
If God didn't want this, he shouldn't have created you here to start with, knowing you never told him you wanted to in the first place, right?

They say its "free will and freedom of choice" to accept God - look at all the answers you got saying this - but then they do a major GUILT trip on you for rejecting God.
Thats the contradiction!!!

You shouldn't be forced to love god. And you aren't forced to love god. If people say "because you will goto hell", that's their belief! Not yours. You need to find your own.

right on!! ive often wondered how exactly you're supposed to be drawn towards a religion that uses fear as a motivator... fxck organized religion, humans will twist anything around to get money and respect. i dont believe in god, i believe in us humans, and i believe in love. - peace <3

Who's forcing you?
Loving God is not a condition for salvation, it is a response to salvation. You inherit damnation for your acts, not for your beliefs or your emotions.
