What the HELL is wrong with the generals that are sending a couple of Hummers with no air cover into a WAR?!
In Los Angeles, they send out 10 squad cars and a helicopter or TWO just to catch a car-thief, should he decide to "terrorize" the freeway by driving the same speed as everyone else!!
Why can't we put SNIPERS on every tall building in Baghdad?
Why can't we send out a decent size convoy, when something needs to be checked out?
Why can't we drive Humvees on the streets that run parallel to the one the main contingent is driving down? (So as to make sure it is more difficult to approach it.)
Why can't we drive a remote controlled car infront of the Humvees?
Why can't we analyze where the bombs came from?
Why can't we arrest A SINGLE person when attacks happen?--I am not talking about dragging people out of homes; I am talking about CHASING and CATCHING terrorists like the police do in L.A.
Do any of you West Point (or other MILITARY school) grads think this is FUBAR?!

Most of you SUPPORT KILLING OUR TROOPS!!
I am really surprised.
"Me" says it is too expensive to protect our children (soldiers fighting for our country).
"Sam H Bane" says that he has been there and understands, but then blames me for asking West Pointers for solutions.
Hey, I "blinked," too, but when I opened my eyes I still saw the same MORON standing infront of me: YOU!
I am trying to SAVE soldier lives! ***!!
Oh, and "Geronimo" says he knows why things are as they are but why is a secret of OPSEC.
I'll tell you what the secret is. The secret is that we have some INCOMPETENT GENERALS (probably West Point grads!!!!!) (Which was my whole subtle point--obviously too subtle for you!!) KILLING OUR BOYS!!
We need some civilian oversight of the day-by-day excursions and activities in Iraq. Only that way can we see what BLUNDERS in LOGIC and PLANNING are causing OUR BOYS TO DIE!!
We must protect THEM, not defend the people killing them!! It's not only the enemy, it is command!!

It's called military intelligence.
Maybe they can send the Los Angles police department to Iraq and the war would be over in a day,but then you wouldn't want to embarrass the military.
Besides short wars mean less money for the war manufacturing companies and less money for their big government contracts.

Why don't you join the US Army, and get a better picture of what really is going on over here instead of sounding so ignorant?
I would love to give you a detailed answer to all of your questions. I wont though because it violates OPSEC and I'm not about to put other soldier's lives in jeopardy just to a get a few points on Yahoo Answers.

I have heard all of my life that it is just a blink of an eye to measure the distance between being a genius and a idiot. I have blinked my eye and you sure do not fit the genius category. Why do you ask West Pointers? Why don't you as some old grizzled vetrans that have been there and done that? I know why.....They would eat your *** up.

Edit- To school your dumbass; there is not enough money to pay for your ideas. Your tax dollars are tied up in more important things like women's pregnancies, PC BS and wasteful habits service members.
