I love it it helps me focus all day I am on 10mg but can not sleep more then 2 hours at a crack..Is this normal for this drug and has anyone had this before and what did they do?

No it's not normal, it's a common side effect of Adderall but it's something you definitely have to change... You might want to try switching to Ritalin instead of Adderall if you can't sleep. Ritalin does almost the same thing but stays in your system for a little less time, so it's slightly less likely to keep you up at night.

yes thats normal. Ive taken it before and I cant sleep on them either. It also depends on whether you have extended release capsuls. With that it keep putting the drug in your system so that could be why you cant sleep. My roomate has been taking it for years and she can sleep on it. Your body will begin to adjust to it. Just dont take it real late in the day, earlier the better!

With only 10mg as your dose, I'm surprised you're having that problem. I take 25mg a day and have no problem. Take it early in the day, and no later than 6 hours before bedtime.
