if you're a girl and you prepared a valentines day card for TOM(who acts like he likes you) but never got the chance to give it to him and JIM (whose Tom's friend) gives you a valentines day card while Tom didn't. Would your love interest suddenly shift from Tom to JIM because he's the only person who gave you a valentines day card and feel that Tom doesn't like you?

Well don't take anything so personal at this point now one knows who you feel. you have to assume he forgot. if this isn't a possibly, then its also possible that Jim likes you. That doesn't mean you shouldn't like tom anymore. that's the part that makes you sound all about you. Be careful and good luck!!

I think that if you are confused about a card means that you didnt really like tom to start with i think you should get to know jim and see how things go with the frendship there

no.... not if my feelings towrds to "tom" were genuine - i don't think feelings can be bought with a card.. however sweet it may be.
