I want to get rid of plastics from my town as they affects mangroves. So can anybody tell me how can I decompose the plastic waste?

its not biodegradable, so theres no way to do it

The only way you can decompose plastic is to let it stay in the sun for a thousand years or so. Other than that you can burn it but that pollutes the enviroment

You should also try taking it to a recycling center

You can convert palstic into fuel that can be used in pumps etc. There are a couple of scientists in Maharshatra who have found a non-polluting way of doing this. The article was in newspaper last week (Maharashtra Times / Herald). You can try searching on the net to.
The other solution is to recycle plastics(reuse) or incinerate them (burn at high temp).

most plastics are non-biodegradable, they would take thousands and thousands of years to break down. your best bet to do it legaly is to bring them to a recycling center so they can be re-used.

Well...you cant,but you can give it some plastic recycle programs-where they melt it use it all over again...It's great
