I was looking for something like this:

I already have curly hair and it really curls a lot when it's long, but not enough. I have a shampoo and conditioner that are supposed to make your hair curly or something, but I dunno if it actually does anything.

Are there any products that are specifically used to make hair more curly? I dont want to use any curlers or perms or anything.

Sorry I don't think any of the products that say they will help curl your hair really does anything noticeable. I have naturally curly hair but not really enough. It always curls a bit at the ends and then goes all flat on top. That is why I got a perm Tuesday. Other than curing it daily then I think a perm is the only way to make it curl more. I think it is fine for a guy to get a perm.

Yes. I have long, curly hair but my problem is that it gets frizzy and loses curl in some areas. I use this shampoo, conditioner, and gel that really do work. they come in a green bottle and are called "Matrix: Curl Life" the spray gel does the trick. it is called "spiraling spray gel." try it. not a waste of money. and the shampoo and conditioner do help too. they almost make my hair have "more grip" and that helps the curl last.

so after showering, and after towel-drying hair, spray on the gel(not too much or it'll get crusty) and smooth through hair. Then cradle your hair in your palms and scrunch it in your fist.

perms would work the best!!

and whats so wrong with using a perm?? will it compromise you being a guy??

but if you really insist on not using them, keep your hair in curls at night..like those little curling roll things..or curl up your hair and pin it down with a bobby pin. the latter works really well, but both of these are uncomfortable to sleep in.

hi,
you can take perfectly straight hair and make it curly.... but since you have some curl, it will be easier for you... get a good "strong hold" mousse or styling gel, put it on your towel dried, freshly washed hair, the scrunch it up with your hands, make curls with your fingers, make fist fulls of curls and out the door you go. when it drys...wa la!!!

TRY SCRUNCHING IT WHEN WET AND THEN MAYBE PUTTING SOME SERUM THROUGH IT?
