this girl and I have been good friends for bout 2 years now and and to be honest i think she's way out of my league. A friend told me that she likes me but it just seems too good to be true. Anyways this girl is the most athletic, beautiful and smart girl in my school while im just some average joe. The best part about her is that she's so modest and doesn't use her popularity to control other people. So my question is IF i asked her how, would I have a chance?

Go and ask her to a movie and see what happens, your friend’s right? Ask her to do something that you never done before like date things.
Go to a movie or a play
To the weekend games at school
Walks in the park or on beach.
And see what happens, and talk to her little and drip feelers that you like her and you loving being with her. You have some shot as any other guy dose so go for it, but nice and slow you want to keep her as a friend as will.
Just be yourself you know she like that all ready.

The BIGGEST problem guys have is not being confident neough with women (followed closely by being too confident to the point of being obnoxious)
YOU may think you are an average Joe, but if she thinks you are somethign special, why argue?

Hello!! Go for it. Especially if you have 3rd hand knowledge that she likes you. Bring her flowers out of the blue. Drop her a love letter expressing your real feelings. Do somthing special for her. Come on, why haven't you asked her out already?
The worst thing that could happen is that it would be awkward between you guys if she said no, and the friendship is lost. But then no guts, no glory.

Its all about confidence, if you believe your not good enough you aren't, but if you do then you are. The cool thing about your situation is that you two are friends, so even if you do ask her about her feelings and get a negative response don't sweat it. From what you say she seems nice and it wont get all awkward. Plus you'll never know unless you try. Just be confident!
