its gr8 in look and feel but certainly built on new technology ... so u need to wait until softwares are all compitable..

It's okay but it's a memory hog. I'm thinking about switching to a mac in a few years although I'm a die hard PC guy. I'll stay in XP until all the patches go through. you'll also need a good video card to support the OS.

The one thing that makes me wary of Vista is the DRM that they have embedded in it. ripped dvds look like crap on it for instance.

According to Time Magazine, the Washington Post, CNET, Computerworld, The Wall Street Journal, and anyone not bribed by Microsoft (and even some who were), the thing sucks.

Its frustrating is what it is!!!!
nothing is compatible, MS should not have made such a huge transition so quickly.. Nice to know my apple stock will be doing great, because people will definitely be buying more macs....
