Yep.Actually once you know they dont love you back its very easy to walk away. The trouble is when they give mixed signals.Thats when they are being manipulative and trying to take advantage of you but in eiher case you need to wlk away to save your dignity and pride.

Well im coming from the other side of this... a good friend of mine has said he is inlove with me and i was shocked he actually still is and you need to realise (if you have not already) that you cant get someone to love you... iwish it was easy but its not.. its taken him about 2 years and he still is not properly over it...all the best.

I have to say definitely. I've only fell in love once in my life so far, and I knew it was love. I had tried to gain her affection, but she wasn't interested. I was heartbroken, and I was in a suicidal depression for over a month. Even after I got out of my depression, I still can never forget her.

I was infatuated with someone once. It was my first experience with unrequited love which has go to be the worst feeling in the world. I was much younger then and more resilient, so in about 6 weeks I moved on.

I have once before, after i told her it took me months to get past the pain, but then you never truly leave it behind. Overtime the pain goes and you will feel better, I know its kind of overused and stuff, but remember there are more fish in the sea and at somepoint you'll find the perfect one that loves you as much you do them.

yes i have and i am now. before it took me a year i think to completely get over her. now she has a boyfriend and i am trully happy for them. the girl i love now is a different girl, but im not over her yet. i haven't decided to give up or not yet. how i got over before, we weren't constantly communicating. i kept myself busy and i really prayed hard. eventually we became good friends and until now. i think you have to decide that you want to get over someone for you to actually do. it is hard when a person seems to give you mixed signals or when you've really given your heart.. sometimes if feels it cannot come back anymore. but i guess its still is upto the way we think. it's hard, but i guess you have to accept the fact that you have to let go. i haven't done that yet with the girl i love now, and frankly i don't know if i really want to.
