MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

I was a professional masseuse for 11 years

Oils... aromatherapy... I chose my scent according to need... often making an on-the-spot blend. I love lavender, rosemary, citrus or lemon and eucalyptus. The trick is never have too much oil on the hands or skin so you don't slip.

Ok good massage, you start lying on the tummy. Start off with good effleurage and soften the back. just repeat the stroke getting progressively deeper until the patient is beginning to melt like putty. then effleurage the other side.

Work the spine and the side muscles. A side to side movement is good for this. then work the palms the length of the spine from coccyx to shoulder. you start lightly with all of these and dig progressively deeper.

When you find a bump of tight muscle, you stop, find the belly of the muscle and slowly work into it... when you find the spot of release, press firmly while the patient deep breathes until the spot softens... this may happen several times as you work your way up the back...

you pay special attention to the muscles connecting scapula to spine. and dig under the tip of the shoulder blade as you work.

Finally you are to the neck. at this point, the patient flips over and you approach the neck from the top of the head. you work doing a lot of draining downward strokes of the sternocleidomastoideus muscle, which relaxes and drains the lymph nodes in the neck.

Fingers dig deeply into the bottom of the skull where the muscles join. you work the skull. Then the face is massaged with special attention to the termperomandibular joint. then.. the ears are massaged, the skin around them massaged.

the ears are tugged gently.

The massage is done. Properly done this should take a good 45 min to n hour. My massages were very Swedish in that I used long deep strokes that ran the direction of the blood vessels.

However I also used pressure point work for those knots. I used what they now call Reiki to move energies around a bit. I used Rolfing to really get into the bad spots if the patient allowed it. I used much love in my work and paid very close attention to the eyelids of my patient. The eyelashes tell the tale.

The best rub I had was in India last summer. I sat in a shed and these two women poured cups of warm herbed oil over me. they massaged me fairly deeply. THEN they lay me on the floor and, using the rope hanging over me, both massaged me from top to bottom, lying both prone and supine, with their feet. It was awesome!

i'm guessing you made a threat. you may get your individuals mutually for a baseball sport, and after the sport is over you may say something approximately your shoulders hurting and spot if she supplies a backrub. If she does, then thank her and start up giving her a backrub. If she will have the skill to no longer provide you a backrub, then you definately comprehend that she will have the skill to no longer permit you provide her a backrub.
