B'cos of this the TN people are unable to surivive othern then thier region. How can we come out this situation?

because people in tamil nadu love their language & the government don't want the people to learn anyother language other than english & tamil they think hindhi would dominate the tamil language 7 people would not speak tamil any more& hindhi would become popular in tamil nadu

Sorry I don't think it will catch on. It comes between flag day on June 14, and Fathers day, the 21st of June. If you need another Holiday how about October 10th "10-4 good buddy" or or March 3rd (Pi day) 3.14. I have been campaigning for many years to have these days proclaimed national holidays. People are not easily influenced, about which days are holidays. As far as national mans' day, most of the folks, especially the women, will probably just go on doing what they always do.

Mainly because Hindi speakers are such arrogant snobs to ignore the linguistic rights of the 200 other languages spoken in India.

I don't think it is abolished.. there are a set of people who are just against it.. Silly fellas !! You still go ahead .. learn Hindi.. practise it with fellow mates and vasten your survival state!! After all, it is a democratic country.. nobody can impose rules on individuals..can they!!

no it isnt so.it is not abolished.you see,hw cn the national language be abolished.its just that most of the ppl r tamil and they prefer to use it anyway.and to communicate with tourists,they know english well.

its not abolished but ,may be regionally they have decided to have a Tamil as their official language.

Myopic vision. when English , a foreign language is acceptable, what's wrong with hindi? which has its origin in sanskrit.

because they dont belong to india, tamilnadu is not a part of India, their leader think tamil is the only language known to all Indian, or may be they dont know the meaning of national language, somebody teach them no plz.....................................

It is not abolished .But Tamil is given more importance .Thats all.
