I have a black and white kitten that is male, but so many people asked me what kind of breed he is and I don't know. I'm trying to find out on the internet, but can't find anything.
I also wonder what kind of breed my other kitten is. She is grey with very weird white, browness stripes. Hope that somebody can tell me!!!

Well, your black and white one might be a tuxedo cat, and the other one is possibly a tabby. Tuxedo is mostly black with white on it's chest. I put a link in the box below that has pictures of Tuxedo cats. The other kitty is kind of hard to find with the colors your provided. But, usually cats with stripes are tabbies. Hope this helps!

You have a domestic cat, the breeds are classified by their hair length, Short DSH, Medium DMH, and Long DLH. There color or markings are Black and White, and the other is a Grey Tabby, (those kind of stripes are tabby markings).

i think what you have there's a crimson tabby, he's a kinfolk short hair. And he's very lovable! you may probable exchange him over from kitten meals to person meals if he's getting too fat. and do not forget to get him neutered in case you haven't any longer already!

You may have breed and color/pattern descriptions confused, or the people who asked you may have them confused.

here are links to a few articles on these subjects to get you started.

http://cats.about.com/od/breedpictures/Cat_Breed_Picture_Albums_Index.htm

These sites should help you compare your cat's appearance to different breeds, colors, and patterns of cats.

The grey with weird white and brown, without a photo to see, sounds like a Siamese or a Siamese mix. Look for photos of lynx-pointed Siamese, the Siamese with tabby markings is called lynx point.

Dear Adz***

Your question tells me you have not taken your kittens to your local vet for their vaccinations.

Your vet will be able to identify the kittens immediately.

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaase take your babies for their vac's, etc. it is critical for them and their well-being.

Enjoy them, they are the most special and precious creatures ever, and deserve to be treated with respect and kindness.

p.s.*** to your next response...... why couldn't your vet tell you what breed they are?????

I dont think there's a special name for the black and white one. The other cat is a tabby. Most cats are just plain cats but if you want to impress your friends you can make up some fancy sounding name. Just a thought :)

without actually seeng your cats, I cannot tell the breed just by your description of their color and markings.
